The City Welfare

The City Welfare was founded by a young ethnic minority female growing up in Lambeth at the age of 23 - this makes her the youngest Food Bank CEO in the UK that has provided food and essential items to Homes, Community Centres, Hostels and Initiatives to over 500 households within 6months and over 1,000 within a year.

The City Welfare vision began with the aim to help those who have found themselves in unfortunate circumstances, whether it was a direct fault of their own or as a result of the change of circumstances of the economy and country at large.

We believe that no mother should have to choose between paying her bills and putting enough food on the table for their family to eat. The team is lead and ran by the youngest, and most committed individuals in London to ensure that Families across the UK in need are reached.
